“Darwin’s Living Legacy”, 14-16 November 2009
The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in cooperation with the British Council, organizes an international conference entitled: “Darwin's Living Legacy: An International Conference on Evolution and Society” from 14 to 16 November 2009, marking the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth, and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his book On the Origin of the Species. The Conference hosts world renowned academic speakers from over 30 countries, who will explore the role of the evolutionary science in a range of areas. It also has a special program strand dedicated to young researchers, in addition to an exhibition of the life and works of Charles Darwin.
